Pemanfaatan Smartphone sebagai Media Informasi Kesehatan bagi Masyarakat di Wilayah Kerja Puskesmas Dukuh Kupang Surabaya

Abstract

The development of digital technology provides new opportunities for delivering health information to the public. Smartphones can be used as a medium to obtain, share, and access health information quickly and easily. Dukuh Kupang Health Center in Surabaya is a healthcare facility with full accreditation that offers various services, including general clinic, elderly care, dental and oral health, maternal and child health, child care, adolescent reproductive health, respiratory/TB, VCT, psychology, and other services. This health center also provides outreach services in Dukuh Kupang, Pradah Kalikendal, Gunungsari, and Dukuh Pakis. This article aims to discuss the use of smartphones as a health information medium for the community in the Dukuh Kupang Health Center area. The method used is descriptive, through literature studies and observations on the development of digital health services. The study results show that smartphones can be used to convey education about disease prevention, healthy lifestyles, maternal and child health, mental health, as well as information about Health Center services. Using apps like SATUSEHAT Mobile also gives the community a chance to access health information and data digitally. With proper use, smartphones can be an effective way to promote health and help improve people's access to health information.
